She previously worked at CNN, where she was the network’s chief business correspondent and the anchor of Early Start. Her appointment as a senior business correspondent for NBC News and MSNBC was officially confirmed on October 30, 2023.
Earlier in her career, Romans reported for several newspapers, including The Des Moines Register and Knight-Ridder, before moving into broadcast journalism with Reuters Television as a reporter and anchor.
