Gasia Mikaelian is an Armenian-American journalist and morning anchor for KTVU in the San Francisco Bay Area. Since joining the station in 2005, she has covered major regional events, including the North Bay wildfires and a Super Bowl, with notable work during the COVID-19 pandemic producing a series on its mental health impacts.
Her broadcasting career began as a reporter at KSWT in Yuma, Arizona. Before her tenure at KTVU, Mikaelian served as a reporter and anchor at stations across the country, including WAFF in Huntsville, Alabama, XETV in San Diego, and KPRC in Houston.
