She previously spent seven years at CNN, from 2016 to 2023, covering major entertainment news and breaking celebrity stories. Before joining CNN, Melas was the senior entertainment reporter for HollywoodLife and co-hosted VH1’s morning talk show The Gossip Table. In 2018, she drew public attention after accusing actor Morgan Freeman of sexual misconduct—allegations that have been disputed.
