Deanna Allbrittin is an American journalist currently serving as an anchor at WRIC ABC 8News. Before joining WRIC, Allbrittin worked as a reporter and fill-in anchor at WFTV in Orlando, Florida. During her time there, she produced and anchored the first half-hour of the morning show (4:30–5:00 a.m.) and served as a fill-in anchor from 5:00–7:00 a.m. as needed.
Earlier in her career, Allbrittin was a reporter and fill-in anchor at WXIN/WTTV in Indianapolis, Indiana. She earned multiple awards for investigative reporting, covering topics such as lawmakers’ mismanagement of funds for city infrastructure, the state’s inaction against a nursing home operator with hundreds of neglect complaints, and failures by wireless providers during 911 calls that resulted in serious injuries and deaths.
Prior to her work in Indianapolis, she served as a morning anchor and reporter at WFIE in Evansville, Indiana.
