Zain Asher is a British news anchor at CNN International, currently based in New York City. She co-anchors the network’s primetime global news program One World with Zain and Bianna, which airs weekdays at 12 p.m. ET alongside Bianna Golodryga.
Her memoir, Where The Children Take Us, was published by HarperCollins in April 2022.
After graduating, Asher began her career as a receptionist at a production company before moving into journalism. She worked as a freelance reporter for News 12 Brooklyn, covering local stories, and later became a reporter for Money, where she wrote personal finance articles on careers and investing. She eventually joined CNN, where she built her international broadcasting career.
