Guy Penrod is an American gospel singer. He is famous for being a member of the Gaither Vocal Band from 1994-2008. Penrod was a member of the Gaither Vocal Band from 1994 to 2008. His solo albums, released between 2005 and 2012, include Breathe Deep and Hymns. 

Penrod started his career in the 1980s. He first began as a studio singer, backing up voices including Carman, Steve Green, Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, Garth Brooks, Shania Twain, James Ingram, and Phillips, Craig & Dean.

He was also among the members of the Christ Church Choir. During his time as an employee at Opryland, Penrod also performed shortly with the Stamps Quartet in 1987. In January 2016, Penrod published his debut solo DVD entitled Live: Hymns & Worship. His DVD release, The Best of Guy Penrod, was certified platinum by the RIAA.
