The Crystal Lake, Illinois native Dave Mazza is the current chief meteorologist at NBC4 in Columbus, Ohio. Prior to joining the NBC4 weather team, he has worked all over Texas from NBC affiliates in San Angelo in West Texas, San Antonio, and Austin, to the CBS affiliate in Corpus Christi.

Dave joined NBC4 in Columbus, Ohio in October 2012 as an evening weekday meteorologist. In December 2017, Dave was promoted to the chief meteorologist position. He currently serves as the chief meteorologist at NBC4 and can be seen anchoring weather during the week at 4 pm, 5 pm, 5:30 pm, 6 pm, 7 pm, and 11 pm.
Prior to joining the NBC4 weather team, Dave has worked in various television stations all across Texas including NBC affiliates in San Angelo in West Texas, San Antonio, and Austin, to the CBS affiliate in Corpus Christi. Dave is a certified member of the American Meteorological Society and holds his AMS’s prestigious designation of Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (Seal #493).
