Eun Yang is a Korean-American journalist currently working as a morning news anchor for NBC Washington. She also works as a host on NBC Washington Nonstop. Before her position at News 4, she worked as one of the first reporters hired by the National Geographic Channel in Washington, DC. Earlier she served at WUSA, where she started as a reporter trainee and made her way up to substitute anchor.

Eun then joined TV- 58 where she freelanced as a special projects reporter for AsianPacific American affairs. In 1995, she served full-time as a WUSA-TV production assistant while completing her last year at the University of Maryland. Yang worked as one of the first reporters hired by the National Geographic Channel in Washington. While in her tenure, she moved all over the country, filing stories for National Geographic Today. She came to News4 in 2002. During the 2009 blizzards, Yang solo anchored nearly six hours of coverage during the
first snowfall. She spent many hours covering the 2002 Washington area sniper shootings and the inaugurations of President George W. Bush in 2005 and Barack Obama in 2009.

She also worked on Pope Benedict XVI’s Mass at Nationals Park. Yang has named Alumna of the Year by the University of Maryland Asian Studies Program. She earned a Community Service Award from the Organization of Chinese Americans. Additionally, she also earned the Student Role Model Award from the Korean American Scholarship Foundation.
