Aside from comparing osteopathic physicians to RC Cola and allopathic physicians to Coca-Cola, he stated that DOs couldn’t “afford the good letters” and related a story about his own physician while dealing with a fertility issue. The AOA couldn’t find any proof that the doctor he mentioned even existed. The AOA, DOs from across the country, and hundreds of MDs banded together on social media to demand an apology.
