In a pair of amateur boxing contests on August 25, 2018, Jake Paul and his brother Logan Paul faced KSI and his younger brother, Deji Olatunji. On December 21, 2019, it was reported that Paul would make his professional boxing debut on January 30, 2020, against YouTuber AnEsonGib (also known as Gib). Paul won the bout by TKO in the first round at 2:18. The fight between Paul and Gib was a co-feature to professional boxers Demetrius Andrade and Luke Keeler defending their WBO world middleweight title. On August 29, 2021, Jake Paul fought former UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley in a boxing match.
Paul KO’d Woodley in the sixth round at 2:12 of the fight. Before the fight, Paul and one of his cornermen, J’Leon Love, had a backstage brawl with Woodley, in which Woodley was insulted for his lack of boxing experience. Paul was called out by Woodley after knocking out Askren. On May 31, 2021, it was announced that Paul would fight Woodley again in a rematch of their previous August fight in Ohio.

Justine Paradise, a TikTok star, published a video on April 9, 2021, alleging that Paul forced her into oral sex and groped her without her consent after an event at the Team 10 House in 2019. “Sexual assault claims aren’t something I, or anybody else, should ever take lightly,” Paul responded, “but to be absolutely clear, this claim made against me is 100 percent false.” Paradise later alleged in a video that she had received harassment and death threats as a result of the accusation. On April 22, 2021, The New York Times published a second claim by model and actress Railey Lollie, who had previously worked for Paul since she was 17, alleging that Paul nicknamed her jailbait and made comments about her attractiveness, as well as groping her following the production of a video in 2017.
