Tanya Rivero is an American journalist currently serving as a news anchor at WABC-TV, a role she assumed in July 2024. Prior to joining WABC-TV, she worked at CBS News from 2017 to 2024. She also hosted Lunch Break with Tanya Rivero on The Wall Street Journal Live from April 2014 to 2017.

Until August 2013, Rivero was an anchor for ABC News Now. During her time at ABC News, she also hosted Good Morning America Health and contributed reports to Good Morning America, Nightline, World News with Diane Sawyer, Weekend World News with David Muir, and served as an anchor on World News Now and America This Morning.

Before joining ABC News in October 2007, Rivero worked as a reporter and fill-in anchor at WCBS-TV (CBS 2) in New York City, the flagship station of the CBS Television Network. She joined WCBS-TV in July 2005 after reporting for News 12 The Bronx and News 12 Brooklyn, where she worked from June 2004. Earlier in her career, she was a newswriter at NY1 News, and while in college, she gained early industry experience as a desk assistant at ABC News.
