Her WCBS-TV documentary 37 percent highlighted the alarming dysfunction of a Long Island school district with one of the lowest graduation rates in the country. Her CBS2 News investigation “Littered Landscape” won a 2020 Emmy Award, a First Place New York AP Award, as well as LI Press Club and FOLIO prizes, and resulted in the long-overdue cleanup of several of Long Island’s adopted roadways.
