A South African native, Josh has deep knowledge of African markets with experience in advising governments and building organizations across the continent.

He started his career in Investment Banking and Private Equity prior to receiving his MBA and MPA in International Development from Harvard University, where he was a George Fellow and Rubinstein Fellow, and wrote his dissertation on the impacts of logistics costs on the competitiveness of African goods. Josh splits his time between Nairobi, Kenya, and Lagos, Nigeria. In addition, Josh is an Endeavor Entrepreneur. He got recognition in 2018 as an inaugural Obama Foundation Africa Fellow.
