Every Saturday, Lowe reported from a top Premier League match for Final Score, was a regular reporter for Football Focus on interviews and features, and was the host of a “Football in the Community” piece on Match of the Day every Sunday morning (all on BBC One).
She was a regular contributor to Match of the Day 2 and Grandstand on BBC Television. She has also aired sports news for BBC Breakfast, BBC Radio 1, 2, and 4, as well as being one of the main sports presenters on BBC News 24 and BBC Radio Five Live.
Lowe was a BBC Two reporter at the 2004 African Cup of Nations in Tunisia and worked as the England squad reporter for BBC One for the 2005 Women’s European Championship. In 2003, 2004, and 2005, she worked as a pitchside reporter for the FA Women’s Cup Final, which was broadcast live on BBC One. Lowe was in Germany for the 2006 FIFA World Cup. Beginning in the 2013–14 season, NBC Sports signed Lowe to serve as the principal studio presenter for their coverage of the Premier League in the United States. Rebecca was selected Newcomer of the Year by Sports Illustrated in their annual Media Awards in December 2013. Her contract with NBC was then extended until 2022. Lowe is also the NBC Daytime host for all Olympic programming, including summer and winter.
